Mastering Consistency and Stepping Up the Divisional Ranks! Felix Yu, hailing from Madison, Wisconsin, showcased an impressive performance in the Run Madtown Half Marathon, clocking an overall time of 1:24:09 with an average pace of 6:25 min/mile. Throughout the race, he demonstrated exceptional consistency. Notably, Felix hit a peak split time of 6:14 min/mile between miles 3 and 4, demonstrating a strong ability to maintain speed. His persistence paid off as he climbed the ranks, securing a distinguished 1st place finish in the Male 30-34 Division after the 6th mile. Between miles 9 to 11, Felix maintained a steady pace and concluded with 13th place overall out of a total of 1187 participants. While there was a minor slowdown in mile 12, the adjustment didn't detract from his solid performance. We can see how this focus and stamina benefited the consistency across his splits. Concentrating on recovering speed in those longer splits could further enhance future results. Well done, Felix!
