Consistent Splits and Top Division Finish in Flamingo-Lined Streets! Hello, hello from the pink lawns of Madison! Our friend, Douglas Ansel, showed remarkable performance in the 2026 Run Madtown 10K, buzzing through Madisons jubilant streets in a neat 43:22. With an overall pace of 6:59 min/mile, his times remained consistent across splits. Particularly noteworthy were his strong middle miles, maintaining speeds under 7:00 min/mile. Douglas not only snagged 1st place in his M35-39 division, but also flew to an impressive 4th overall. His second and third mile splits, maintained at speeds around 6:39 and 6:45, reveal a solid running strategy. The final split's 6:51 was a substantial finish after a slight slowdown at mile 5.
