Flamingo-tastic Swift Moves! Marie strutted her feathers at the 2026 Run Madtown with impressive efficiency. Covering a 5K distance, Marie's swift pace averaged 7:01 min/mile, totaling an elapsed time of 21:47. What an eye-opener for us pink flamingos! Starting with a 7:10 min/mile pace for the first mile, she transitioned into an impressive 6:57 min/mile in the second mile and maintained a solid rhythm with a 7:03 min/mile pace in the third mile. Marie's performance escalated through the race, displaying significant energy conservation and speed consistency. Marie flew through the race, placing 20th overall out of a flock of 852 participants. Within her gender category, she soared with a 3rd place finish. Notably, she took 1st place in her F35-39 age division.
