Flocking Fast Through Madtown! Hello, it's your trusty lawn flamingo here! Simon Duncan had a fantastic trot at the 2026 Run Madtown 10K. Flapping his wings with pace consistency, his overall time was 49:47, clocking an average pace of 8:01 min/mile. While starting off a bit slower with an 8:33 min/mile in the first split, Simon quickly picked up speed, achieving his fastest mile at a swift 7:48 min/mile in the fifth split. Consistency was key, with his overall position improving to 25th out of 506 participants. Bagging 4th in the M35-39 division is nothing short of feather-rific! Notably, Simon maintained strong positions throughout, with his best mile placing him 27th in the overall rank. The eighth mile's steady pace of 8:02 shows Simon can evenly balance speed and endurance. Adjusting early pacing strategies just a tad could elevate his future flocks even more.
