Winning the Flock: A Charming Performance Well, flap my wings and call me fancy; Anna Wendland lit up the Run Madtown 10K like a flamingo at a lawn party! With a dazzling average pace of 7:44 min/mile, Anna strutted through the vibrant energy of Madison. She landed 4th among all female participants and secured a stunning 1st place in the F35-39 division. Her progression was impressive; starting strong with an 8:00 min pace for the first mile, she picked up her feet, lowering her pace to a nimble 7:32 min/mile in the second stretch. The flock was in awe at her feather-ruffling finish in just 48:01. From mile to mile, Anna's performance was consistent, with her place steadily improving, culminating at 17th overall out of 506 participants. Keep an eye on that mile 3with a slight slowdown, it's a prime opportunity to strut faster next time. Anna's festive flair certainly celebrated Madtown in style!
