A Flamingo-Like Performance at Run Madtown! Brett Neumann really took flight this year at the Run Madtown! The energy in Madison was off the charts, and Brett rode that wave right to the end. Improving his pace, Brett clocked an impressive 6:14 min/mile, down from 6:41 last year. Maintaining consistent splits, especially in miles 2 and 3, demonstrated excellent pacing strategy. His final time was a swift 19:21 for the 5K. Finishing 10th overall with such a strong field of 852 participants is commendable. Continually being first in the M20-24 category illustrates solid dominance in that division, repeating last year's victory there. Brett's performance was consistent with splits ranging narrowly between 6:15-6:17. A slight focus on tightening the pace even further in mile three could yield even better results. Keep your wings flapping, Brett, because you're taking off!
