Consistent Pace Flocks to Success in Madtown! Kelly Chambers delivered a stunning performance at the 2026 Run Madtown Half Marathon. Beginning strongly with an initial mile at 6:34 min/mile, Kelly swiftly increased pace to as quick as 6:20 min/mile by mile two. Throughout the race, they maintained a consistently strong pace, with an average of 6:36 min/mile over 13.1 miles. Notably, their third-place finish in the M35-39 division stood out among 1,187 total participants. The final results were impressive, with Kelly crossing the finish line in 1:26:28 and achieving 18th place overall. An area to focus on for future races could involve sustaining the early race pace during later miles, particularly targeting splits around miles 7, 9, and 11 where slight slowdowns were observed.
