Consistent Pace with a Strong Finish Oh, what a day for feathered fun at the 2026 Run Madtown! Will Catalani from Lake Mills strutted their stuff in the 5K Wheelchair event with notable consistency! With an overall finishing time of 29:16, the pace was a steady 9:26 min/mile. Starting off with a 9:58 min/mile for the first mile, Will found a rhythm, improving to a nimble 8:59 min/mile in the second mile. Wrapping up the third mile at 9:27 min/mile, this consistent performance was truly admirable. With an impressive 5th place finish overall and the same rank in the male category, Will demonstrated strong pacing ability throughout. The vibrant energy of the Run Madtown seemed to lift those wheels, showcasing admirable improvementsespecially comparing with Will's previous half marathon, which had an overall pace of 9:16 min/mile.
