Consistent Pacing Adds a Pop of Color to the Race Hey hey, its me your favorite Madison flamingo! Lets flap our wings in excitement for Brendan, bursting with vibrant enthusiasm at the '2026 Run Madtown' half marathon. Kicked off with a nifty 6:26 mile, Brendan exhibited impressive consistency, maintaining a steady pace between 6:23 and 6:32 min/mile throughout most of the race. Around mile 11, the pace dipped slightly, reaching 7:24 min/mile by the final mile. Such a performance shows remarkable stamina. Finishing with an elapsed time of 1:27:48, Brendan strutted through at a pace of 6:42 min/mile, proudly landing 2nd in his division, M25-29. Out of 1,187 participants, he cheekily clinched 19th place overall, fluttering past many fellow runners. Its worth keeping an eye on those later miles. A bit of focused stamina work could enhance that already admirable consistency across the distance. Keep those feathers ruffled and remember, we love a fabulous finish here in Madison!
