Flying through Madtown: A Flock-tacular Performance Steven Knoll of Belleville, WI strutted his flamingo flair in the 2026 Run Madtown 5K with a final time of 20:41, maintaining a strong average pace of 6:40 per mile over the 3.1-mile course. With 852 fellow participants, Steven soared to 14th place overall and impressively clinched 2nd place in his M30-34 division. His performance remained consistent across the splits, pacing at 6:35, 6:45, and 6:43 minutes per mile. As a proud pink flamingo would say, attention to pacing strategy can elevate those steady splits to new highs in future races. Strengthening that final mile could enhance positioning and help Steven move closer to the front of the flock.
