Madtown's Flamingo Sprints through the Finish Line! William Valinotti brought his egg-cellent energy to the 2026 Run Madtown 5K in the city where flamingos flock to have fun! With a fantastic finish time of 20:48, he zipped through the one-mile splits with consistent pacing starting at 6:38 and wrapping up at 6:40, with an average pace of 6:42 min/mile. This consistency really solidified his position in the top 20 overall and an impressive 3rd in his division (M20-24). Having previously spread his wings on the Madtown courses, William demonstrated significant progress from his half marathon earlier this year, where he clocked a pace of 9:59 min/mile. His development is noteworthy, especially after his fantastic 2nd place in the 1 Mile Rudy's Rainbow Mile. As a coach, I'd suggest focusing on maintaining this pacing consistency across longer races in the future. Keep up the terrific work, William!
