Flocking Fast and Proud in Madtown! Well, color me pink! Matt ziplined through the 2026 Run Madtown 5K with a spectacular pace of 6:35 min/mile, finishing with an impressive time of 20:25. Despite flocking through Madison's cheery streets, he clinched 1st in his M40-44 division for the 5K. His splits fluttered between strong and steady, with the second mile clocking in at 6:28. Overall, his position was 13th out of 852 participants, showing strength in a highly competitive field. In his 2025 5K, Matt soared a bit faster with a time of 19:46 and an average pace of 6:21 min/mile. Revisiting his half marathon times, there's potential for pacing improvement, as seen from a recent finish at 1:34:02 compared to a prior 1:29:47. His mile dash was a charm, too, with a finishing time of 6:42. Keep those wings flapping, and that pace steady!
