Consistent Pace with Flamingo Flair Rachael strutted her stuff at the 2026 Run Madtown 5K Wheelchair, covering the 3.1 miles with an even pace and plenty of flamingo spirit. Starting off with a solid split of 10:58 min/mile, she maintained consistency through the next two miles, finishing with an overall pace of 11:01 min/mile. Her splits showed a slight increase, from 10:54 min/mile at mile 2 to 11:10 min/mile at mile 3, but she still completed the course cheerfully. Out of 33 participants, Rachael finished 18th overall and 10th among females. Her performance at this kickoff to summer in Madison is a testament to sturdy pacing across the board. Working on maintaining the initial split pace could boost future performances. Until then, Rachael, keep the flamingo flair bright and your persistence steady!
