Soaring to the Top with Flamingo Flair! As the flamingos danced in Madison, Ruth Ewing from Mcfarland soared gracefully through the 2026 Run Madtown 10K. Starting strong with a first mile split of 7:36, she improved her pace significantly, dipping to an impressive 7:04 in the second mile. Maintaining a steady pace throughout, Ruth finished with a stellar average of 7:15 min/mile, securing the top spot in her gender and division categories. Notably, Ruth's consistent performance placed her 10th overall out of an impressive 506 participants. Despite a minor slowdown at the sixth mile, her split times mostly hovered around the 7:15 mark, demonstrating her steady endurance.
