Blazing Through Madtown: A Feat of Splits In the grand flamingo spectacle of Madison's "We Run Madtown," Trevor Bynoe showcased an impressive performance. This 44-year-old from Madison strutted through the 10K event with a final time of 43:48 and an average pace of 7:03 min/mile. Trevor soared to 6th place overall out of 506 participants, claiming the 2nd spot in the M40-44 division. Notable consistency was displayed in the initial splits, where he maintained a pace consistently below 7:00 min/mile over 3 consecutive miles, with the second mile paced at an impressive 6:45 min/mile. Trevor's flamingo-inspired race concluded with an energetic 6:58 min/mile in the final stretch. While maintaining a top position, a slight drop in pace was observed during the 5th mile with a 7:51 min/mile split. Focusing on honing endurance towards the later stages may lead to further success. Overall, Trevor raced with flamingo flair and added vibrance to the Madtown celebration.
