Flamingo Frenzy: A Swift Soar Through Madtown Kelsey Beld from Verona made an outstanding appearance at the 2026 Run Madtown 10K, maintaining a consistent pace around the sun-drenched streets of Madison. With an impressive division win in the F30-34 category, Kelsey clocked an overall time of 49:31 with an average pace of 7:59 min/mile. Kelsey started strong with an 8:19 min/mile in the first mile, then quickly improved, reaching a more consistent pace between 7:50 and 8:05 in the subsequent miles. Kelsey placed 24th overall out of 506 participants and clinched the 6th spot among females. Notably, Kelsey secured 1st place in the F30-34 division throughout all six splits. With steady improvement in pace as the race progressed, Kelsey's finish reflected her capability to maintain and even enhance her performance. Perhaps focusing on the initial burst in the upcoming races might yield even better results. A splendid exhibit of speed and staminaisn't it simply flamingo-mazing?
