Soaring to New Heights in Madisons Flamingo Flock! Jeremy from Evansville, WI, sprinted through the Madtown atmosphere and finished the 1 Mile Rudy's Rainbow Mile in 8:00, placing an impressive 2nd in the M30-34 division. With an even pace of 8:00 min/mile, Jeremy secured the 9th place overall among 112 participants, displaying consistent performance throughout the race. The dynamic energy of the event surely added a spring to his step, as he improved significantly compared to previous events. Comparing with prior races, Jeremy achieved improved pacing, showcasing a pace improvement from the 5K events in both 2025 and 2026 with an 8:32 min/mile pace in the latter. In the half marathon events, while maintaining endurance, the pacing trend also demonstrated progression. Focusing on efficient pacing strategies in future races could be beneficial.
