Steadfast Steps at Madtown's Fanciful Flock Fest Greetings from Madison and what a delightful race day for Chris McAuliffe! Stepping into the pink paradise of the Run Madtown, Chris zipped through the 10K course at a consistent pace. Kicking off the first mile with a time of 8:19, he rapidly picked up speed, dramatically reducing his pace to 7:32 in the second mile. Maintaining momentum, his split times hovered consistently in the mid-7 minute range, leading to a final time of 48:06 with an impressive average pace of 7:45 per mile. Chris's performance showed stark proficiency, climbing steadily through rankings and landing a spot as 2nd in the M20-24 division. With a final placement as the 18th overall finisher out of 506 participants and 14th in his gender category, Chriss run was nothing short of a victory lap around our beloved Madtown. A flamingo-approved performance for certain, and a feather in his cap!
