Consistent Climb Performance with Robust Mid-Race Placement Gabriello Re, age 42 from Lakewood, CO, delivered a steady performance in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon. He completed the 13.36-mile course in 3:43:08, achieving an overall place of 239 out of 2049 participants. Gabriello maintained an average pace of 16:42 min/mile. Impressively, he ranked 23rd in his division (O40-44), showcasing his consistent ability to sustain competitive pacing through challenging altitudes. Gabriello began with a strong pace, reaching Ruxton at an impressive 7:50 min/mile. His mid-race positioning showed robust strategic advancement, moving up to 167th overall at No Name Creek. Though the latter sections, particularly from Bottomless Pit onwards, showed a gradual slowdown as elevation increased beyond 12,000 feet, Gabriello's split paces remained commendable, averaging around 22 min/mile towards the finish at over 14,000 feet.
