Strong Performance Improvement On Pikes Peak Ascent Jared Thompson completed the challenging 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon with an elapsed time of 3:24:48. This marks an improvement in pace from 2024, reducing his time per mile to 15:19 from 15:33. The consistent pace during the early stages was notable, beginning impressively with a 7:55 min/mile split at Ruxton. His ranking also surged from a starting position of 1548 to finishing 133rd overall. Particularly noteworthy was Thompson's push in the final stretches above the treeline, maintaining a competitive position against others in his age division. He secured a 10th place finish in the O40-44 category, improving from 14th the previous year.
