Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Velina Valcheva #3581 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Swift effort at a very fast pace Velina covered 0.30 km in 1:59, averaging 3:39 min/km. In a large field of 5,624 runners, she placed 1,296th among women and 406th in the womens 2630 division. The standout stat here is the pace: 3:39 min/km is sharp speed over this short segment. This was part of Run The Wharfs Canary Wharf night-running setting, where speed is the focus. For future efforts, the key target would simply be extending that pace across a longer distance while keeping the same efficiency.
