Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Gaynor Davies #2385 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Top-10 Age-Group Finish with Sharp Speed Zone Result Gaynor Davies recorded 1:43 for 0.30 km, averaging 5:49/km. She placed 6th in the female 55+ division, a notable age-group result, and was 754th among women in a field of 5,624 overall participants. She also passed 23 runners in the Speed Zone segment. This was a short effort, but the numbers point to strong pace execution over the measured section. Finishing 6th in division stands out most here, especially in a large event environment around Canary Wharfs fast closed roads. For future similar efforts, maintaining this level of early speed over a slightly longer segment would be a useful benchmark.
