Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Leon Dreyer #274 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Podium Age-Group Result at High Speed Leon covered 0.30 km in 1:13, averaging 4:09/km. He placed 2nd in the Male 55+ division, 261st of 5,624 men, and 439th overall out of 5,624 participants. That age-group podium stands out most strongly in this result. This was the On Speed Zone at Run The Wharf, part of the Friday Night Lights series in Canary Wharf. Over a short all-out effort like this, maintaining 4:09/km is a strong indicator of good turnover and acceleration. To build on an already sharp result, the next step would be to focus on sustaining that speed over a longer distance while keeping form efficient.
