Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alex Koenig #1286 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Excellent speed through the on-course zone Alex covered 0.30 km in 1:19, which works out to 4:27/km. He passed 25 runners in the On Speed Zone, a strong gain over a short segment and a clear sign of good acceleration. Among 5,624 participants, he placed 670th overall, 417th among men, and 92nd in the mens 1825 category. This event is built around a fast evening 5K atmosphere in Canary Wharf, and his speed-zone result suited that format well. The standout stat here is the combination of 25 places gained and a 4:27/km pace over 0.30 km. To build on this, the next step is to hold that kind of pace across a longer section of a race.
