Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Moya Whelan #7253 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Brief Effort, Strong Relative Finish Moya covered 0.30 km in 1:13, averaging 4:08/km. She recorded 10 On Speed Zone passes, a notable stat for such a short effort. In a field of 5,624, she placed 45th among women and 19th in the female 1825 category. That relative category result stands out more than the overall placing. The pace was sharp across the measured distance, and the short-format effort suited quick turnover well. For future attempts in this kind of speed-based segment, maintaining that pace over a slightly longer distance would be a useful next step.
