Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Anna Gellert #2452 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast, efficient finish with strong age-group standing Anna covered 0.30 km in 2:01, averaging 6:50/km. She placed 92nd in the Female 4145 division, 1380th among women, and 3283rd overall out of 5624 participants. That age-group result stands out most, putting her comfortably inside the top half of her division. This was a very short effort, so the key stat is pace control: 6:50/km over 0.30 km. In a fast evening city event built around a closed-road 5K atmosphere in Canary Wharf, that suggests a sharp burst of speed. For future efforts, extending that same rhythm over a longer distance would be a useful next step.
