Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Adam Spiers #691 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick Effort with Strong Age-Group Standing Adam covered 0.30 km in 1:46, averaging 6:00/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 74th in the mens 5155 division and 1,448th among men. That age-group result stands out more than the overall placing, especially over such a short effort. This was part of Run The Wharfs evening Canary Wharf setup, a fast closed-road city run tied to the Friday Night Lights series. For this distance, the key marker is speed: 6:00/km across 0.30 km is a solid short-burst effort. If he targets a higher divisional finish next time, the main opportunity is sustaining that pace over a longer segment of the course.
