Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: John Hamlin #1764 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast 300m effort at 5:35/km pace John covered 0.30 km in 1:39, averaging 5:35/km. That is a sharp pace for a short effort, and it stands out as a quick burst rather than a longer sustained segment. He placed 240th in the M3135 division and finished ahead of a large portion of the field, ranking 2005th of 5624 overall. For coaching purposes, the key stat here is the contrast between the very short distance and the strong pace. If this was an all-out speed section, he executed it well. The next step would be extending that pace across a longer distance in training or future events. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening setting suits this kind of fast, high-energy running.
