Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Tony Williams #2062 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with strong age-group standing Tony covered 0.30 km in 1:28, averaging 5:00/km. He passed 2 runners during the effort and placed 36th in the mens 5155 division. Against a field of 5,624, that age-group result stands out more than the overall placing. This was a very short run, so the key stat is speed: 5:00/km over 0.30 km on the closed roads of Canary Wharf. For a brief effort, that pace was solid and efficient. To move higher in his division, the next step would be holding that speed over a longer segment while keeping the same control.
