Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Joe Denty #1133 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast Start, Strong Standing in a Short Effort Joe covered 0.30 km in 1:31, averaging 5:10/km. Against 5,624 participants, he placed 1,477th overall, 951st among men, and 133rd in the mens 3640 division. That puts him in roughly the top 26% overall and top 24% of male finishers. This was a very short, speed-focused effort, so the key takeaway is his ability to produce quick pace immediately. In an event built around the fast roads of Canary Wharf, that opening speed stands out. For future similar efforts, the focus could be on sustaining that pace over a longer measured distance to translate this speed into a fuller race result.
