Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: James Warnock #5 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Excellent ranking in a very short effort James recorded 0.30 km in 0:55, averaging 3:06/km. In a large field of 5,624, he finished 35th overall, 6th among men, and 3rd in the mens 2630 division. That combination of speed and placing stands out: top 0.6% overall, top 0.1% among mens division entrants by placement, with a podium result in his age group. On a fast evening course through Canary Wharf, this was a sharp, high-speed effort. For future attempts, the main focus is simply extending that speed across a longer measured distance while keeping efficiency high.
