Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Neil Fernandez #4432 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp pace and strong age-group standing in a short effort Neil covered 0.30 km in 1:25, averaging 4:50/km. He placed 30th in the male 5155 division, 693rd among men, and 1051st overall out of 5,624 participants. He also passed 29 runners in the On Speed Zone segment. This was a very short, fast effort, so the key stat is pace: 4:50/km over 0.30 km. The age-group result stands out most here. For future races, extending that speed across a longer measured section would give a fuller picture of endurance alongside turnover. The Friday Night Lights setting in Canary Wharf is built for quick running, and he made good use of it.
