Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Louise Thompson #7760 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick burst with strong age-group standing Louise covered 0.30 km in 1:40, averaging 5:40/km. She recorded 32 speed-zone passes, a notable stat for such a short effort. In the female 4650 division, she placed 25th, which stands out more than the overall placing in a field of 5,624. This was part of the evening Canary Wharf run atmosphere, where short, fast efforts fit the events high-energy format. For future attempts, maintaining this speed over a slightly longer distance would be a useful next step. The pace was sharp, and the division result suggests a competitive performance within her age group.
