Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Aliredha Damji #7971 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Brief effort with sharp speed through 0.30 km Aliredha covered 0.30 km in 1:40, averaging 5:38/km. He passed 21 runners during that section, a notable gain rate over a very short effort. In a field of 5,624, he finished 2,076th overall, 1,271st among men, and 348th in the mens 2630 division. This was part of the fast evening Canary Wharf setup, where quick acceleration matters. The strongest stat here is the 21 places made up across just 0.30 km, suggesting good intent and turnover early. For the next outing, the focus should be on holding that speed over a longer segment while keeping the pace close to 5:38/km.
