Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: William Kirkup #7965 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with a front-pack age-group result William covered 0.30 km in 1:04, averaging 3:37/km. He placed 148th of 5,624 overall, 51st male, and 11th in the Male 1825 category. That age-group placing stands out, especially in a large field. This was a very short, fast effort, so the key stat is speed: 3:37/km over 0.30 km. In an event linked to Run The Wharfs Canary Wharf night-running atmosphere, he produced a sharp result and stayed competitive within his division. For future short-format efforts, maintaining this pace over a slightly longer distance would be a useful next target.
