Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Tommy Burnell #6 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Podium age-group finish with standout speed Tommy covered 0.30 km in 1:01, averaging 3:26 min/km. He recorded 3 passes in the On Speed Zone, a notable stat over such a short effort. In a field of 5,624, he was 17th male and 89th overall, with 2nd place in the mens 3640 category. That age-group result stands out most, especially in a fast evening race through Canary Wharf. The raw speed is clear from the pace, and the category placing shows strong execution against his peers. For future attempts in this format, the main opportunity is simply to sustain that speed over a longer measured section while keeping the same sharp pace.
