Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Zia Cornejo #2092 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast opening speed with a strong age-group result Zia covered 0.30 km in 1:34, averaging 5:20/km. She placed 88th in the Female 3135 division, 460th among women, and 1,684th overall out of 5,624 participants. That puts her around the top 16% overall and top 19% in her division. This was part of an evening closed-road run through Canary Wharf, where quick efforts suit runners who can get up to pace early. Her average speed was sharp for the short distance, and the division placing stands out most. For future efforts of this type, the main focus is simply sustaining that pace across a longer measured segment so the result reflects the same speed over more distance.
