Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Catarina Alves #5811 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with strong speed over a short distance Catarina covered 0.30 km in 1:54, averaging 6:25/km. That equals 184 metres at a brisk pace, showing good turnover in a very short effort. She placed 2,888th of 5,624 overall, 1,117th among women, and 353rd in the female 2630 category. This was part of Run The Wharf, an evening closed-road run through Canary Wharf that blends racing with a social atmosphere. For such a short segment, the key stat is pace: 6:25/km is a solid benchmark. To build on this, aiming to hold that speed across a longer distance in training would be a useful next step.
