Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Abigail Perry #494 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with standout pace and strong category result Abigail covered 0.30 km in 1:19, averaging 4:27/km. Among 5,624 finishers, she placed 113th female and 38th in the female 2630 division. That age-group placing is a notable stat given the size of the field. This was part of Run The Wharfs evening closed-road Canary Wharf event, built around a fast 5K atmosphere and after-work social setting. For this effort, the key positive is clear speed over a very short distance. If she targets this format again, extending that pace across a longer section would be the next useful step.
