Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alice Armstrong #5363 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive speed in a short effort Alice covered 0.30 km in 1:43, averaging 5:50/km. She passed 21 runners during the On Speed Zone segment, a strong gain over a very short distance. Among 5,624 participants, she placed 758th female and 239th in the female 2630 category. This was a brief, fast segment rather than a full-race effort, and the key stat is how much ground she made up in just 0.30 km. That kind of turnover suits the quick, evening 5K atmosphere of Run The Wharf through Canary Wharf. A useful next step would be holding that pace across a longer section in training to build on this speed.
