Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Louis Moorcraft #6748 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp speed over a short effort Louis covered 0.30 km in 1:27, averaging 4:55/km. That converts cleanly from 0.184 miles at 7:55/mile, and it points to strong top-end speed over a very short distance. He placed 1,177th of 5,624 overall, putting him in the top 21% of the field, and 220th in the Male 2630 category. This was part of Run The Wharfs evening Canary Wharf setting, known for fast closed roads through the financial district. For a short effort like this, the key stat is the pace: sub-5:00/km speed. A useful next step would be extending that pace across a longer measured segment, so the same speed can translate into a stronger result over 1 km and beyond.
