Elite speed-zone efficiency in a very short effort Will covered 0.30 km in 1:02, averaging 3:30/km. He placed 28th of 5,624 men and 10th in the M2630 division, a standout result in a large field. He also recorded 108th overall and passed 4 runners in the On Speed Zone segment. This was a sharp, high-speed effort at Run The Wharfs Canary Wharf evening event. The strongest stat is the pace relative to the short distance: sustaining 3:30/km over 0.30 km shows very good top-end speed. To move higher overall in this type of segment, the next step would be sharpening acceleration and holding that speed as close to the line as possible.
