Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alice Waters #3590 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick segment with sharp pace and strong age-group standing Alice covered 0.30 km in 1:46, averaging 6:00/km. She ranked 54th in the female 4145 division, 870th among women, and 2495th overall out of 5624 participants. That puts her around the top 1% of her age group, top 16% of women, and top 44% overall. This was an On Speed Zone effort rather than the full 5K, and she passed 9 runners during the segment. On a short, fast section like this, holding 6:00/km is a useful marker of turnover and acceleration. For future sessions, a good coaching focus would be sustaining that speed over a longer distance in km-based efforts.
