Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alex Bedwell #2243 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick work over a short distance Alex covered 0.30 km in 1:58, which works out to 6:41 min/km. In a field of 5,624, she placed 1,280th among women and 272nd in the Female 3135 division. That is a very short effort, so the key stat here is speed rather than endurance. This was part of Run The Wharfs evening closed-road setting through Canary Wharf, built for fast running. For future efforts, the next useful step would be extending this pace across a longer measured distance so there is more data to assess pacing consistency and race execution.
