Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Eamonn Mulhall #5855 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick effort with strong age-group standing Eamonn covered 0.30 km in 1:31, which works out to 5:07 min/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 75th in the male 4145 category, 928th among men, and 1,438th overall. This was a very short effort, so the key takeaway is efficient pacing over a brief distance. A next step as a coach would be to pair this kind of speed with a longer sustained segment in training, so the same turnover can be held deeper into a run. At a fast, closed-road Canary Wharf event known for its evening 5K atmosphere, this was a sharp snapshot of pace.
