Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Owen Glithro #592 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast burst with strong relative placing He covered 0.30 km in 1:23, averaging 4:41/km. In the On Speed Zone segment, he passed 20 runners. Against 5,624 participants, he finished 887th overall, 577th among men, and 79th in the mens 3640 division. This was a short, high-speed effort, so the most useful marker is the pace: 4:41/km over 0.30 km. Passing 20 runners in such a brief segment stands out and suggests good acceleration. For future efforts of this type, the target is simply to hold that speed a little longer while keeping the start controlled.
