Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Fergus Irvine #2547 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast burst with strong speed-zone ranking Fergus covered 0.30 km in 1:29, averaging 5:00/km. He ranked 1,282nd of 5,624 overall, 835th among men, and 237th in the mens 2630 division. In the On Speed Zone segment, he passed 40 participants, a notable stat over a short effort. This was a brief, high-speed run within the Canary Wharf evening event format, where closed roads and the after-work atmosphere tend to reward sharp pace from the start. For future efforts, the clearest target is sustaining that early speed over a longer segment while holding close to 5:00/km.
