Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Dan Richards #6794 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp speed over a short effort Dan covered 0.30 km in 1:31, averaging 5:09/km. Against a field of 5,624, he finished 1,467th overall, 943rd among men, and 266th in the mens 2630 division. For such a short segment, the key stat is the ability to get up to pace quickly and hold it through the line. This was part of Run The Wharf, an evening city event known for its fast closed roads through Canary Wharf. The numbers suggest a solid burst of speed; the next step would be extending that pace over a longer distance so the same efficiency carries further.
