Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Lewis Partington #1402 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive speed over a short distance Lewis covered 0.30 km in 1:24, averaging 4:46/km. He passed 15 runners during the effort, a notable stat over such a short distance. Against 5,624 participants, he placed 993rd overall, 651st among men, and 196th in the mens 2630 category. This was a very short, high-speed effort rather than a full race-distance run, so the standout metric is the pace maintained across 300 metres. In an event known for fast evening running through Canary Wharf, that ability to move up 15 places quickly is a good sign of sharp acceleration. For future efforts of this type, the next step is to hold that speed for slightly longer distances.
