Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Matias Ferro #4498 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Podium Age-Group Finish with Standout Speed Matias covered 0.30 km in 0:58, averaging 3:19/km. He ranked 64th overall out of 5,624, placed 11th among men, and finished 3rd in the mens 3135 division. He also passed 14 runners in the On Speed Zone, a strong indicator of acceleration and positioning over this short effort. That combination of division podium placing and 14 passes stands out most here. For coaching focus, the speed is clearly there; the next step is extending that same sharp execution over a longer segment so it converts into even stronger overall placing. In an event built around fast evening running through Canary Wharf, this was a very efficient performance.
